What does pōhaku mean in Hawaiian?
Pōhaku is a rock or stone. Stones held mana, and named stones mark births, boundaries, and temples across the islands. Kapōhaku is the stone, Pōhakulani a heavenly stone, Pōhakukai a sea stone.
